LRC: how to migrate all processing settings from one folder to a separate copy of that folder
Hi,
I am working on an historical photographic archive project and need to be able to copy all the adjustment settings from one folder of images and then apply it to a separate copy of that same folder in a different location. I know how to do this one image at a time (copy settings from an image and then apply them to a copy of that image in a different location). But I need to be able to do it globally for an entire folder, if possible.
My project involves starting with an original set of folders, then copying some of those folders to a new location, removing some images, and renaming the new versions of the folders. Eventually I need to process all of the images in the new folders (about 3,000) and export them for delivery to a library. However, some of the images in the original folders have already been processed. I would like to be able to somehow copy the processing settings for an entire folder of images and then apply them to a new version of that folder. Copying and pasting settings one image at a time between two folders in two locations would be nearly as time consuming as just starting from scratch to re-process the image copies in the new folders.
Any ideas?
