LRc keeping Synced images when no longer syncing

I have a question.

Why does LRc, keep all the images you have ever synced in a folder AND keep sysning them our other devices? If i stop syncing a collection on my desktop/laptop, It doesnt maek sense to remove the collection but keep the images on the other devices. If i stop syncing them, I dont want them on the other devices.

I don't see the porpose. Can someone enlighten me?
