LRC lrtemplate

I have a number of lrtemplates, but when i try import them into lightroom i recieve the following message "preset file was the wrong type of preset"

I am using the latest version of LRC

Where did you get them from and what kind of presets are they? The .lrtemplate develop presets are very old (pre Lightroom Classic 7.3) presets. There is a way to convert them to the new .xmp version, but it is better to ask for updated ones if you got them from a third party. Non-develop presets, such as metadata presets orv export presets are still .lrtemplate, but I am not sure that you can import these the same way as develop presets.
