LRC not importing images or syncing after upgrading to version 12.5

LRC has been working flawlessly for years. Today, as I import images from a card, the images show up in the import folder, but then do not import as I click the button. When I check the destination folder the images are not there, if I sync it, it will not recognize the images, but I can see they are in the finder folder.

One more thing, the images imported to Pictures by accident, so they ARE in the catalog, nevertheless I can not move them to the correct destination folder, it tells me there are already images with those names (but I can't see them in it).

Any suggestions? Thank you.

UPDATE: This problem got solved through a support call I placed to Adobe. Difficult to say what the problem was.
