LRC not responding

Anyone else experiencing "lock-ups" in LRC when using masks after installing v 13.3?   Ever since installing everytime I try to use making the system locks up and I have to do a force quit.  Using a Macbook Air M1.

There's something wrong with 13.3, only solution is to downgrade to 13.2 and wait for a fix.

Hey, @william32614264gb0t @emoslaughter & @william_galindo. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Before troubleshooting, please update Lightroom Classic to the latest version (v13.3.1) via the Creative Cloud desktop app.

 

Where do you keep your Lightroom catalog? On an internal or external drive? Do you have a recent catalog backup? 

Besides the slow-down, monitor the activity & performance in the Activity Monitor. 

 

As primary steps, try this:

  • Unplug additional displays & use only one by default.
  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://adobe.ly/3uYiJo4
  • Test and create a new catalog from File > New catalog, and don't enable Sync in the test catalog to rule out the possibility that Sync is causing other performance issues.

13.3 totally jacked my system m1 MBP 16. I've logged like 5 hours of adobe support without resolution... you are not alone. Something with sync is causing my whole system to be laggy. Flagging takes minutes, undo doesn't work, can't "show in finder" and many more.
