LRC running slow since last update

Hi all, I'm experiencing some difficulties with LRC running super slow.

My issues are the application of a mask with a brush. I'm having a massive delay, also with the sliders not moving fluidly.

I have a brand new SSD worked fine yesterday. All my aviation photos are here catalogued. I'm on a 6 month old high performance laptop, so that's not the issue. I have altered some preferences as recommended and optimised the catalogue, this worked for a minute then slowed again the same issues.

LRC updated yesterday and this seems to have started then. Has anyone else got an issue or any thoughts or solutions if they are not having this issue since the update?
