LRC slowness

I have an issue with slow response time in LRC. Do I need to clear out pics once they've been edite

Please tell us exactly what actions are slow. Be specific and detailed.

I followed the suggestions for changes in the preferences that I saw in a video that was posted on the subject.  These seem to hjave worked.  I changed the camera Raw Cache setting tp 10 GB maximum size, checked the Use Smart Previews option, and unchecked the Generate Previews in parallel option.

 

Most of the issues I had been experience would happen after usin LrC for a while or leaving it and coming back after 15+ minutes.  These included exporting, slowness in level adjustments (seeing the change in the image), and changing to the next image.  Masking and denoise do take a while too, but I expected those.

Please go to Help > System info (probably in the Lightroom menu on a Mac), click the Copy button, and paste in a new reply here. You can delete everything below Installed plugins.

Removing pictures is not going to fix the problem.
