LrC tethering is broken

Question

Tethering does not work; crashes app or spinning beachball.

LrC version 12.2

Camera: Canon 7D with 2.0.6 firmware ( latest )

OS: 13.2.1 (22D68) on a 2023 Macbook Pro.

Software & firmware is the latest version. LrC has full disk access in privacy and settings.

There are no issues with tethering in LrC on a Windows laptop with the same camera & USB cable.

I've tried deleteing the Adobe Lightroom preferences from the User Library Preference and tried uninstalling and reinstalling LrC, it simply does not work.

Is this a LcR issue or an Operating System issue?

Used to be additional issues, many fixed in December 2022 release, and the February 2023 release, but not that one. (not to confuse importing with tethering)
