LRC V.14.4 applies edit to entire picture and not to masked area only

Each time I try to apply changes to a masked area LRC (V.14.4) is changing the entire picture and not the selected area only.  I never had this problem on my older desk top versions or in the LR for mobile uses. I have windows 11 pro. Do you have an idea? Thanks!

Yes, that is usually the case if people report this. Check that your masking panel is not collapsed. That would explain why you move the wrong sliders.

You are most likely using the sliders in the Basic Panel, and not in the Masking Panel.
