Following up on this thread to see if you’re still experiencing the issue.

Since your original post, we’ve released Lightroom Classic 15.4.1. Could you update to the latest version and let us know if Lightroom Classic launches normally now?

If the issue still persists, could you also share:

• Your latest System Info (Help > System Info > Copy & Paste) from Lightroom Classic 15.2.2, since 15.3 wasn’t launching.
• A short screen recording showing what happens when you try to launch 15.4.1 (for example, the spinning wheel and the application showing “Not Responding” in Force Quit).

Also, just to confirm:

• Does Lightroom Classic still hang even when creating a new catalog by holding the Option key while launching?
• Does it ever reach the catalog selection dialog, or does it become unresponsive before that?

This will help us determine whether the issue occurs before Lightroom initializes the catalog or during startup itself.

What are the specifications of your hardware? I have no problems using Lightroom Classic 15.3 on MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max.
