LrC v13 update is not recognising Canon 7DII

Ive just updated to LrC v13.0.1 on a macbook pro, OS ventura 13.1. I connected my canon 7DII which but when I try to import images it mostly doesnt recognise the camera or it does and then it says there are no images before it dissapears again. I had no problems before the update.
