LrC v15 imports to 90%, hangs, will not finish import

I just upgraded LrC on my Windows 10 PC to v15. This problem also occurred when I was running 14.3. I checked my PC, I have 80GB of memory free and 16GB of RAM. I have always had success with LrC and my catalogs. I back up to an external HD. It has 1.1TB free. All of a sudden, my LrC stopped importing large batches of photos (15GB+ / 3100+ photos/videos). Files are being imported from my phone (with 20GB of free/unused storage). The phone is a Galaxy S22. Lots of files types: HIEC, JPG, RAW, etc. I have tried updating LrC to v15, I have tried disabling the GPU on my PC's device manager, and turned off "Use Graphics Processor" in LrC under Preferences. The same results: the import process proceeds to 90% then hangs... for HOURS. I checked the CPU, disk and memory usage (10/50/20% respectively, give or take). I'm attaching what my LrC file folder looks like here. I ALWAYS backup the catalog when prompted when I close LrC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
