LRC when sending raw files to Photoshop does not open raw convertor, Why?

I have recently updated to the latest versions of LRC and PS but when I right click and choose Edit with on a raw file it does not open Raw converter which is annoying especially as I regularly deliberately underexpose images so as not to lose detail in the sky.

P.S. If you really want to use Camera Raw instead of Lightroom for some reason, then there is a work-around, but it's not using the Camera Raw-filter. What you should do is choose "Open Image as Smart Preview in Photoshop". In Photoshop, double clicking the smart preview layer will invoke Camera Raw.

Lightroom Classic has never done that, because it would be superfluous. The raw converter you are talking about is obviously Camera Raw, but the Develop module of Lightroom Classic is based on the same Camera Raw routines. So anything you would want to do in Camera Raw, you can and should do in Lightroom Classic. Note that the Camera Raw filter in Photoshop is not really an alternative, because your raw file is already converted to RGB when it is opened in Photoshop. That makes editng in the Camera Raw filter less effective than editting in Lightroom Classic.

Found a workaround for now which is when the raw file is open in Photoshop press Ctrl+Shift+A which is shortcut to Filter > Camera Raw Filter.
