LRClassic is changing my preference settings

I had the same agent end our chat three times yesterday without explanation.  I have an open case number, and it needs more specialized support.  If the agent can't help, they shouldn't "hang up" on us but tell us they will escalate our issue to someone who can.

Plus I've checked there is no help here for the issue I'm facing that I can find. LRClassic is changing my preference settings.  I change them, then they change back. I use camera settings instead of adobe default settings. I was sent an email from Adobe saying basically create a new catalog.  That doesn't fix the existing catalog and all of the files in it.

Thanks.  I got a CSR supervisor who had reviewed my case and called.  I have a Nikon Z9, and I changed my preferences to Camera Settings and the Z9 instead of Adobe Default because the default creates more noise issues than the camera settings for my camera.  However, the preferences were changing to my old camera.  We determined it wasn't really changing them, but when I shot photos in pre-release capture at 30 FPS, the camera records those files in .jpg and not raw.  Adobe can only use camera setting preferences for raw files, not .jpg.  So that explains it. 🙂

Reset the preferences by deleting the preference file.

Can you take a few screenshot's of your issue. A screenshot of before, a screenshot of after. And post into a reply.

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Also the "change back" does that occur while you are working in LrC, or when you restart LrC?
