LROOM upgrade

I naturally chose to upgrade LR to 15.01 and after a few minutes an error message appeared "updating not responding" and progress bar stopped. Now I cannot open LR and cannot edit or access previous image files.

Can I restore LR to a previous state prior to 15.01?
