App & Plattform: Adobe LR Classic Version 14.3.1 auf einem PC mit Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2.

Problem: Lupenansicht zeigt falsches Aufnahmedatum an, EXIF-Datum ist leer

Reproduktion des Problem: Bilder im Bibliotheksfilter nach Datum filtern und gefundenes (korrektes) Datum mit dem angezeigten Aufnahmedatum aus der Lupenansicht vergleichen.

 

Hallo,

ich benutze seit vielen Jahren LR Classic, meine LR-Datenbank hat schon einige Rechnerumzüge erlebt.

Bei älteren Fotos habe ich jetzt folgendes Problem:

- Der Bibliotheksfilter findet z.B. ein Bild im August 2001, was korrekt ist.

- Die Lupenansicht zeigt als Aufnahmedatum März 2024 an.

- Die EXIF-Daten für "Urspr. Datum/Uhrz.", "Datum/Uhrz. digital" und "Datum/Uhrzeit" sind alle leer.

- IPTC zeigt auch kein Datum an

 

Weitere Einstellungen:

Für die Metadaten in den Katalogeinstellungen habe ich den Haken gesetzt bei
  "Bearbeitung" - "Änderungen automatisch in XMP speichern"

  "EXIF" - "Datums- oder Zeitänderungen in proprietäre Raw-Dateine schreiben"

XMP-Dateien sind in den Verzeichnis mit dem Foto aber keine vorhanden.

Der Windows-Explorer zeigt auch nur 2024 als Datum an.

Lesen/Schreiben von Metadaten in LR überschreibt das korrekte Datum.

 

Ich vermute, dass LR das korrekte Datum aus seiner internen Datenbank hat und die EXIF-Daten bei einem Datenumzug verloren gegangen sind. Wie bekomme ich diese korrekten Daten jetzt wieder zurück ins EXIF?

Hi @FotoSensei! You might need to manually adjust the capture time for those photos. If you head over to the Library module, select the photos you want to update, then go to Metadata > Edit Capture Time, you’ll be able to shift the time by a set number of hours or set a specific date and time.

Hi @FotoSensei — thanks so much for reaching out and for sharing all those details!

Would you be able to share a screenshot showing how the metadata looks for one of your photos outside of Lightroom Classic? That might help us get a clearer picture of what’s going on.

I believe when you import a photo, Lightroom initially uses the file’s OS timestamp as a temporary placeholder for the capture time. Then it looks for the EXIF:DateTimeOriginal (0x9003) field — if it finds a valid value there, that becomes the official capture time. But if that field is missing or contains an invalid value, Lightroom falls back to using the current date and time instead.

You can also try selecting the photos in Grid view, then going to Metadata > Revert Capture Time to Original — that might help if the capture time got changed during import.

Let me know what you find, and we’ll go from there!

thanks for your feedback. Attached some screenshots from LR, MS File Explorer, Nikon NX Studio.

And from the LR dialog to "Revert Capture time to Original". The shown "Original" time is from 2024.
