Don't know what the issue is but all of a sudden LRC running on MacMiniProM4, the size of the Catalog cannot be changed, fill the whole screen (27" dell) and I cannot make it smaller, no matter what I try.  Turned it on off, etc. nothing helps.  I cannot see menu items and the Apple Menu overlaps the LR Menu, etc.

Any ideas?

Corrupted preferences was the issue.  As per many suggestions from a few people (thank you) I deleted the preferences file while LR was off.  I went via the backdoor.  Launched LRClassic and it rebuilt the preferences amnd now good to go.  Everything back to normal.  Thanks everyone.  I appreciate this community.  Cheers

I just got off the phone with Apple Support.  We did a safe boot, logged in with a test user and LR catalog was working fine, allowing me to ue it normally.  When we login to my official user account, LRC still is stuck in full screen mode, cannot rezsize it, see menu bar options or do anything.  Then they abruptly told me to talk to Adobe...and hung up.

Both MacOS and Lightroom have a full screen mode. Try if you can get out of it by pressing the 'F' key a few times. If that doesn't work, try shift-F. If it still does not work, then corrupted preferences may be the cause. Here's how to reset them:
