Manual Noise Reduction isn't show up in Library module and won't be exported

Hi! I need help! I use LrC's Manaul Noise Reduction to clean up the noise of a jpg file. I was happy with the result. However, when I go to the Library module, the NR effect is not showing there. The original noise is back. When I export the file, the same thing. The Manual NR effect isn't applied. I am using LrC v. 13.2. Any idea why the manual NR isn't applied beyond the Develop module? Thank you very much!

I probably should have mentioned two things:

- I am using macOS Sonama 14.2.1.

- This is the first time I have used Manual NR. So, I might have missed some steps to apply the effect but I couldn't find anything on it.

When working with noise, sharpening and other image detail, you must view the image at 100%. (if you have a 4k or higher resolution monitor, you may need to use 200% because the pixels are so small)

This this the only view that presents you with a true representation of the image – one image pixel is displayed using one screen pixel.

Any other view will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.

You also have to view the exported image at 100%.

Also remember that you have to export a new jpeg in order to apply edits. So do not export 'as original', thinking that this will work because the original is already a jpeg.
