Mark IV raw files

I just got Canon EOS 5d Mark iv.  I tried to open raw files and was unable.  I upgraded to Lightroom 6, thinking that would solve the problem, but I'm still unable to open the files.  I see that LR now supports the Mark iv raw files, but cannot make it work

I gambled and updated CC2015 and it upgraded my stand alone LR 6.6 2016 to LR 6.7, I can now open my 5DIV files.

So if anyone else has a question to this matter, you have your answer.

I have the same exact problem, just received a Canon 5DIV , and I have stand alone not CC LR6, it's updated to 6.6. When I go to help it says update for CC2015 . Will this update my stand alone not CC to the current version of 6, so I can open my Canon 5DIV files

When I go to help it says update for CC2015

What does the Help (Win) or Photoshop Lightroom (Mac) > About screen say?

    Can you post a screenshot?

If 6.6 then the update should give you 6.7.

If CC then you are running a Cloud version.

Only Lightroom 6.7 supports the 5D Mark IV. Not earlier versions.

You may be running Lightroom 6.0. Make sure you've updated to version 6.7.
