Masking menu

Hi I wonder if you can help me here as getting very frustrated....

Im using LR Classic on Creative Cloud and says its 9.3 release.

I have no masking menu available and wondering why. If I press conrol M masking comes up but not a menu of options like I have seen is available. Is this becuase my version is not up to date enough?
