Masking Tool Broken After macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 Update

I understand how frustrating this is. Let’s narrow it down quickly. First, could you please confirm whether you are using a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4/M5) or an Intel-based Mac?

Depending on that:

For Intel Macs, please refer to this known issue: https://adobe.ly/4mjaJEH

For Apple Silicon (M-series), please try the following steps:

• Close Lightroom

• Go to these locations and delete everything inside the ModelZoo folder:

• /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/ModelZoo/

• ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/ModelZoo/

(Tip: Hold the Option key while clicking “Go” in the Finder menu to access the user Library)

• Launch Lightroom again and test masking

Let me know which Mac type you’re on and how it behaves after this.
