Masking tool cursor

Hey!

I've had an issue for a long time now in both Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. When using the masking tool the cursor keeps jittering between the brush and cursor when moving it around. Say if I select the brush and start masking around the image, while I'm moving the brush over the image it keeps changing into the cursor for a split second every other second. This is very annyoing and especially difficult to work with the spot healing tool. Anyone else found a solution to this?

Not sure if it's relevant with this problem but I've used the Logitech MX Master mouse with my macbook but I've dealed with it's issues by deleting the control apps.
