Massive syncing problems with lightroom classic cc 7.0.1 (Win 10)
Everything was going swell, Lightroom and my phone were synced nicely and easily. I tend to edit on both desktop and on phone because of differences between the phone and classic desktop app (changing aspect ratios numerically, detail manipulation etc), so I need both to be properly synced.
I imported a bunch of photos onto my computer, somewhere around 100, so not many. My computer can handle that and my internet is fiber optic and pretty quick. only about 30 photos synced, and they took ages, and then Lightroom crashed. I opened it back up numerous times, each crashing as soon as I did anything, often just straight away.
I logged out and back in again, nothing. uninstalled it (keeping preferences) then installed it, nothing. Finally, I completely turned off my computer, took out the power supply and left it overnight so that nothing was happening on the computer, turn it back on in the morning and it was still crashing. I then completely uninstall Lightroom and remove preferences, it now stops crashing and I can work on it.
However, now all the imported photos are gone from my desktop, including the 30 that were already in the collection prior to the import, the 66 photos in the collection that are synced on my phone are still on my phone. LR still says "Syncing Photos", but nothing seems to be happening whenever I refresh my phone. I have stopped all of my collections from syncing but it still says that it is syncing photos. in edit/preferences/LIghtroom cc/Sync activity it says (16 uploading, 0 downloading, 103 pending) and the 16 that are uploading all say error. I believe this is old photos that never synced properly to begin with...
How do I get my phone to recognise that the collection it's showing shouldn't be syncing, and how do I get Lightroom to start syncing properly again?
I hope my specificity has been helpful, sorry for the detailed recount,
thanks if you can help!
