Merge to panorama - auto select projection missing

The documentation here indicates that the "Auto select projection" option should be available in my edition (6.8 perpetual license) but it is not. The documentation only indicates that the "Boundary warp" feature is missing.

Is there something wrong with my install of the product or do Adobe need to fix up their misleading documentation on the product?

The "Auto select projection" option was removed in version 6.5/ CC2015.5 as a bug fix as it always selected the same projection mode.
