Question

Metadata Status in metadata panel is incorrect for a selection of photos that includes Virtual Copies

Old bug/issuer never fixed.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Select X originals with the same metadata Status (e.g "Has been changed" or "Up to date" or etc...)

2.Set metadata to “Selected Photos”

Originals only

3. Select 1 Virtual Copy

Actual Result: At step 3 “Metadata Status” appears as "mixed"

Originals + VC

LrC doesn’t filter out Virtual Copies that do not have Metadata Status

Expected Result: Virtual Copies are ignored when comparing and when displaying the “Metadata Status”

Virtual Copy doesn't have a metadata file on disk, so technically, the metadata status for a Virtual Copy is undefined.

I know tha Virtual Copies don't have metadata status, that's why they should NOT be considered for the comparison of Metadata Status, they should be filtered out.

This is not happening and causing the Metadata Status of the selection to be always <mixed> when a  VC is selected.

If you like, I will convert this to a feature request.
