migrate from aperture with folder structure intact?

i'm transffering my old aperture library over to LRC using the plugin, and its doing a great job, however it's not keeping my folder hierarchy intact, and is putting all the photos in month/day folders instead. i don't see any options to preserve the folder hierarchy. anyone know a workaround? it would take ages to recreate the folders manually and place all the respective photos within them. thanks!

I think you can only preserve the folder hierarchy if you used a 'referenced' library in Aperture, not if you used a 'managed' library. Photos in a managed library have to be copied by Lightroom, because they are inside the Aperture library. Photos in a referenced library are already in a local folder hierarchy outside the library, so then you should be able to instruct the plugin not to copy or move the photos to a new location.
