Migrated my catalog to Lightroom CC...Can I come back to LR Classic?

I migrated my catalog to Lightroom CC.  I am not loving it, as I am having too many issues with CC.  I my catalog is approx 27k images.

On my main computer, it says "all synced and backed up".  On another computer, it has said "syncing 1 photo" for weeks.  More issues as well.

I turned Sync with LR Mobile in Classic, and now things are syncing with CC, i assume.  Classic has created a Collection of my Catalog that has 25k images in it.   It is all very confusing.

I would like to use LR Classic as my my home base again, and just use CC as a something I would use for travel.   Is this possible?   I apologize for rambling.

You should be able to go back to the previous version of your catalog that worked in the previous software, as that catalog hasn't changed and is still on your disk wherever it was.

Thank you for replying.  I'm not sure how to do that.  are you saying that my Catalog on Classic remains unchanged, and I can still use it?   What do i have to do to CC?

    Thank you!

The catalog you had before LR CC is unchanged and still works in whatever version of LR you used before LR CC.

Just launch this older version of Lightroom.
