Migrating from Lightroom to Lightroom Classic - missing sync photos

Hello, I'm migrating from Lightroom to Lightroom Classic. The sync say it has completed, but many images are missing from folders in LrC. For example, one folder shows 30 images in LrC, but 74 in the same folder on Lightroom CC. Also curiously, the total number of "all synced photographs" on LrC is 4733, yet on Lightroom cloud (where it's syncing from), the total is 4524. So I'm not sure where these extra 209 photos came from!

Can anyone help explain how to retreive the missing photos?

Many thanks,

Leo

Any hints of stuckc images when you go into Settings->Lightroom Sync and use the disclosure triangle to show Sync activity?

The difference is probably due to some images being duplicates which Classic treats differently than cloudy - versions vs virtual copies. Good idea to chase it down though.
