Minimum LRCC configuration for D850 NEF files?

I have a 2015 release of LR CC with Camera Raw 9. This combination will not download d850 files, as no one is surprised to learn. What is the minimum I have to do to get this combination to read NEF files from the D850? Throw it out and start over?

The Nikon D850 requires LR 6.13 / CC 2015.13 or later: Cameras supported by Camera Raw .

Do Help > System Info to verify that exact version you have. If you indeed have Lightroom CC 2015 with a valid subscription, you can upgrade to the latest subscription version, Lightroom Classic 8.0. If instead you really have Lightroom 6 (perpetual license), then you can do Help > Updates and update to the last version, 6.14.
