Missing Camera metadata for video files

Does Adobe ever intend to fix the problem with missing Metadata for video files?  In addition to the camera make and model being missing on video file import, why does the create time have to be converted to UTC?  When the create time and camera info are preserved on RAW picture files, why can't movie files also be handled similarly?

Create time for video files is not handled uniformly across different camera types.  It is always converted to UTC on all my Nikon DSLRs and Nikon mirrorless cameras.  I am not sure about movies taken on different iPhone models.  Create time may be preserrved on some but converted to UTC on others.

This long outstanding bug makes Lightroom very inconvenient to use when one has a mix of stills and videos.  I hope Adobe sees fit to resolve this problem once and for all.

We're not Adobe here. We are Lightroom Users. None of us can tell you what Adobe's plans are on this matter.
