Monitor resolution in LightroomCC develop module

I have a full HD 1080P monitor which provides super sharp images on You Tube. When in the develop module of Lightroom however I find the display to be decidedly soft but when I print my shots they are tack sharp. I have checked on my Windows 10 PC that the screen resolution is at full 1080P so I am at a loss to understand why this is happening. Is there any adjustment in Lightroom to sharpen up the images in the develop module.

    Are you talking about images being "decidedly soft" in the Library Module or in the Develop Module, or somewhere else?

    Have you generated 1:1 previews for these images?

    Show us a screen capture of these decidedly soft images.

    Thanks for your reply, I have now updated the driver on my graphics card

    which has fixed the problem.
