Question

Motiv- und Personenerkennung funktioniert nicht mehr

Guten Morgen,

seit einigen Wochen erkennt Lightroom weder Personen noch Motive, sodass adaptive Presets nicht mehr verwendet werden können.

Wie kann man das Problem lösen ? Alle Updates wurden gemacht...

Beste Grüße

Malte

Dedizierter GPU-Speicher, der von Lightroom verwendet wird: 600,3MB / 2024,4MB (29%)

So 2GB of VRAM, fairly small for current LrC advanced usage. Would look for at least 4 GB, but if buying a new GPU, at least 8GB.

Some advanced features may not work in LrC, some may be very slow. But update that drive and hope.

Also:

AMD Radeon R7 200 Series

I think that product was released way back in 2013. Getting very old. What I am not at all sure about is if this is a GPU on a notebook/Laptop as opposed to a Desktop. Can you confirm it is a Notebook/Laptop.

Informationen zum Grafikprozessor:
DirectX: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (22.19.677.257)
Anfangsstatus: GPU für die Anzeige wird standardmäßig mit Unterstützung für Bildverarbeitung und Export im benutzerdefinierten Modus unterstützt
Benutzerpräferenz: Automatisch

So, for the GPU driver, Windows Store Version 22.19.677.257 , released back in 2017.  I think, that the current is Windows Driver Store Version 27.20.20912.1002. You may want to upgrade and see if that helps.  Note that I do not have an AMD GPU, and I struggle a bit with their websites in finding the drivers. (while if you had a AMD GPU, the websites can easily check for you)

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

"DirectX: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (22.19.677.257)"

That's a very old graphics processor, from 2013.  Your installed driver dates from 2017.  Install the latest driver from here:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/graphics/radeon-r9-r7-r5/radeon-r7-200-series/amd-radeon-r7-240.html

But note that the "latest" driver is two years old, since AMD no longer supports that GPU. It very possibly still contains bugs that LR's AI models trip over.

LR is very sensitive to bugs in graphics drivers, and Adobe is continually improving how LR uses the GPU. If updating the graphics driver doesn't help, you can try rolling back to an older version of LR -- otherwise, you'd have to get a new graphics processor.

Note that AI masking runs just fine (though more slowly) without using the GPU. Unfortunately, Adobe inexplicably refuses to allow users to disable the use of the GPU for LR's AI commands.

Does "alle updates" include your GPU drivers?
