Move Keyword into other Keyword?

LR Classic 7. Windows 10.

I want to move a keyword into another keyword.

So, I have keywords Dogs and Max.

What I want to end up with is the keyword Max 'inside' the keyword Dogs.

I've seen some items that describe 'clicking and dragging' the keyword.

Can't find any keyboarding that will allow that.

Am I on the right track here?

Or do I need to take a different workflow approach to creating this hierarchy?

(fwiw, I have many keywords that I want to do this with. Not just my one example.)

Thanks for any help or advice!

Thanks, dj_paige!

I did some mousing around and went into Mouse Settings/Additional mouse options in Windows 10.

There I changed the slider for Double Click Speed.

It was set at the mid-point. Moved it towards the Faster side.

That did the trick.

Previously when I clicked and held an item I would get the Edit Keyword Tag window.

This will make things easier!

You want to drag and drop, entirely within Lightroom. No different than dragging and dropping elsewhere.

No, you don't need to take a different workflow approach.
