Move photos between LR (classic) and PS not working!

When I edit a photo in LR Classic and want to further edit it in PS i have a problem to re-import it in LR. Before I could just close the photo in PS (or close PS) and click "save" and the photo showed up in LR CC. Now it does not reappear in LR and LR shows an empty window. I am using the latest Mac OSX. Reinstalling LR and PS did not help.

You should click “save” BEFORE you close the file. (Make sure you are clicking on the “Save” option in Photoshop)

    Hi Roland,

Here are a couple of things to check.

    1. What is your Sort selection on? Can you change it to Filename to see if that keeps the edited image next to the original?

    2. Are you selecting the image in a collection?

    3. In Preferences/External Editing do you have Stack with original checked?
