Question

move to the next photo it randomly reverts to the previous photo's settings

I have the latest version of Lightroom Classic 15.0 installed on more than one Apple computer with M processors, and it's almost impossible to have a reasonable workflow, let alone a good one. There are many errors, such as when I move to the next photo it randomly reverts to the previous photo's settings; if I crop a photo, the subsequent photos are in a nonsensical format. Adding to the already known problems of selecting automatic white balance, the photo gets stuck and won't advance to the next one unless I change it with the mouse, as the keyboard controls are inactive.

Adobe's solution:

- Disable the "Use graphics processor" option
- Disable the "Use GPU for preview generation" option

So what's the logic in having a Mac Studio with 30 GPU cores? This isn't a solution; Adobe is just a patch.

And I'd like to take this opportunity to express my indignation at them having "DUPLICATED" the price of the products with the justification of AI, when what "REALLY MATTERS" is what it's intended for: PHOTO EDITING WITH A FAST-TRACK WORKFLOW.

The price I pay for the Photography Plan, which includes Lightroom Classic, has not changed in 10 years. Maybe you should contact Adobe directly about your billing, rather than posting here in the forum where we have no information about billing and no control over billing.

In a first step you should  try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Unfortunately you haven't given us any information about your system. Therefore, all proposed solutions are a look into the crystal ball

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI
