I have a stand alone version of Lightroom six and want to switch to the subscrption for Lightroom Classic. Will my catalog, preferences, and plug ins automatically move to the classic?

TIA,

Don

And just in case you'll be running CC on two computers yourself (as you'd be licensed to do)

Here you'll find info about using a catalog file on multiple computers:

    Hi Don,

All your Lightroom catalog preferences, presets and plugins will be migrated to Lightroom Classic after a catalog upgrade.

You can open, or import, a catalog from an earlier version of Lightroom Classic, including a beta version, in a more recent version of Lightroom Classic. When you do, Lightroom Classic upgrades it. The new, updated catalog contains all of the metadata associated with the previous catalog and photos.

Please install Lightroom Classic from the Creative Cloud app and refer to the steps below:

    • Do one of the following:

      • Start Lightroom Classic for the first time.
      • If you’ve opened Lightroom Classic previously, choose File > Open Catalog.
    • Navigate to the old catalog .lrcat file, and then click Open.

Note:If you can't remember where the old catalog is located, search for “lrcat” in the Explorer (Windows) or Finder (MacOS).

    • If prompted, click Relaunch to close the current catalog and restart Lightroom Classic.

Click Relaunch in the Open Catalog dialog box.

    • (Optional) In the Lightroom Catalog Upgrade dialog box, change the destination for the upgraded catalog.

    • Click Upgrade.

Click Upgrade to open and use the catalog.
Important: When you upgrade a catalog, Lightroom Classic leaves the old catalog untouched, makes a copy of the old catalog, and renames its previews file. So, in addition to your new, upgraded catalog, you'll also have:
      • old catalog.lrcat
      • old catalog-2.lrcat
      • old catalog Previews 2.lrdata
You can keep or delete these file.
      Thanks,
      Akash
