How to move an entire hard drives worth of photos and their folders from an existing hard drive to a new hard drive while maintaing their folder structure?

Correct answer Rob_Cullen

Option Two of the methods in this link is recommended for moving large numbers of files. It seems it is more reliable to Copy & Paste with the OS and check LrC is relinked to the new location of the folders before deleting the 'old' drive.

An easier method is to clone the whole 'old' drive to the 'new' drive and rename the 'new' drive the same as the 'old'

NOTE:  NO IMPORTING of files!!!
