Moving pictures folder from external hard drive to new external hard drive

Question

Hi, I need your kind help.I am using latest version of LR Classic on my Macbook pro (latest MACOS version).My pictures are on my old external hard drive and I just purchased a new external SSD hard drive.My LR catalog is on my Mac hard drive.I have about 25,000 pictures...Can you please instruct me how to move my pictures folder from the old HD to the new HD?I am very afraid to do so...Thank you in advance

Great news and thanks for confirming that you completed the move successfully. Too often we find folk go at it a 'bull in a china shop' only to end up a with files missing or not where they expected. As I was taught many moons back - "If in doubt, ask"

The key to a successful photo migration for one disk to another is retaining the original folder structure. You may find Part 2 of below linked tutorial helpful.
