Question

Moving through stacks and rating quickly

Hi all,

I'm new to Lightroom Classic and I am trying it out to see how the stacking of photos can speed up my workflow. The autostack by capture time is fantastic. However what I'd like to be able to do is navigate through the stacks more quickly without having to use the mouse. i.e. with the grid open:

Press the right arrow and this opens each stack or single photo in survey mode. (i.e. if a stack has 7 photos then it opens all 7 in survey mode so I can rate them) Then when I press the right arrow again it moves onto the next stack or single photo - until I get to the end of the collection of photos.

At the moment I can still achieve the same thing but I have to pick out each stack from the grid view, then expand it whilst holding the shift key so that it opens them all in Survey view.

Anyone know a keyboard only way to sift through stacks easily and survey them like this?

Thanks!

Check out this similar discussion:

Also, on Windows you can use the free Autohotkey utility to assign keyboard shortcuts to "macros" of groups of keystrokes.
