Multiple folder import, using facial recognition, need to track export results

I am new to lightroom.  I am attempting to help a non-profit group organize volume of photos with facial recognition.

multiple photographers will be submitting their folders of photos.   I want to use lightroom facial recognition to tag each photo.

I need to export in batches photos that have been identified back to the organization web page.

How can I track from the volume of pics what has been exported?   I dont want to create duplicates in the next export.

I appreciate anyone that can explain this to a new user.

After you select the photos to export and right before you hit the export button you could set a Label such as PURPLE for all the selected photos.  Then for the next export you would have to filter for all photos that do not have a label of PURPLE and choose your new export from this filtered selection.   Not elegant but it would work.
