multiple images don't open as layers in Ps from Lr

Hello there

I have installed both Ps and Lr with the latest version,when I tried to open some images as layers in Ps for focus staking the option is OFF.

Anyone can help me with this please?

Do you have more than one photo selected ?

Is there an exclamation mark [!] on the photo borders in Grid View?

Are you using Smart Previews in the Catalog?

Your Version Number of "Lr" ?

I think they are smart previews

Lightroom Classic requires access to the original image file to use "edit in PS" function.
