My Lightroom Classic does not respond after update to v14.2

I updated my LRC to 14.2 today.

When I open LRC it immediately  gets stuck in "not responding" mode.

I tried also to use a back up catalog, but unfortunately with the same result.

I have forced app shut down and rebooted my PC.

I have loaded the latest GPU driver and OS.

OS: Win11 24H2

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTx 1080Ti  Studio ver. 572.60

RAM 32Gb

Anyone else had same problem? 

Any help would be highly appreciated

Have you tried to re-install the app to check if that makes a difference? If not, you can try that.

Also, you can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4ihimIm

Do you get an error message?

If it's possible, please provide a copy of your 'System Info'.

This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Hi,

I dont get an error message. Only "...Adobe Lightroom Classic - Library (Does not respond) message in the upper left corner. The page is gray and NO pressing of LRC buttons (e.g. Help) is possible.

Thank you for your reply - I will give a try to this (a bit later today) and come back with results later. Lets keep our fingers crossed!
