My Lightroom Classic Windows ver is so messed up I just want to re-install - what should I back up?

I finally cured the extreme slowness of Lightroom a week ago with a driver update for my graphics card and a windows tweak and then suddenly, lightroom started asking me to sign in *every* time I started it up. Then after entering my email/password, it would say that it could not verify my subscription status. This was even though I was signed into my Adobe account at the same time in a windows edge brower session. What the heck?

If I would reboot and try again, then it seemed to let me sign in successfully. Possible related is I have a 4th hard drive that seems to go offline but I am not using it within LR. Another issue - which I have tried many times to fix - is that whenever I click "help " in either LR or PS, it *always* says that I appear to be in the wrong country and then I have to manually select Canada and *then* English. Usually by that time, the context-sesitive help has no clue what I was asking for help with and sends me to some generic page. Useless really. Is there a way for Adobe to remember I am in Canada and I speak English? Lastly, what should I backup before removing all my ADOBE software? I recently instally Acrobat which I really regret as it seems entirely focused on selling me upgrades. Yeesh! Too many things on my PC trying to sell me stuff. Thanks!

Another issue/fix could be a problem with the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App that needs to have that app replaces. The diagnostic step in the previous reply may or may not show that in either error messages or notifications. But their is a Adobe Tech Support article on this:

P.S. as for the wrong country, bring up Google and search on "adobe creative cloud wrong country" and a AI generated article will show up talking about looking at your account at Adobe, checking country, and talking to Adobe support (this is not an absolute fix)

Thanks! I uninstalled everything - after backing up my whole c drive  - reinstalled everything and it's behaving much better now. Yay!

Bring up your Adobe Creative Cloud (the Creative Cloud Desktop App). I assume that you are signed in. On purpose sign out, wait a few seconds, then sign back in. Pay attention for any error messages or notifications.

This is a diagnostic occasionally called for in Adobe Tech Support pages. It might not show anything.

Also, sometime (i.e. rarely) their is some odd issue going on with the Creative Cloud Desktop App, and signing out then signing in clears.

I give this about a 10% chance of fixing anything, but it is worth a check.

Of course, you should be regularly and automatically making backups of all of these files, you shouldn't make backups just for this situation.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
