my lightroom classic won't open , have removed it and tried a re-install but still won't open

just says conflict uninstalling lightroom,  I afraid I am gong to have reset windows again

If Lightroom Classic does not open, then that is usually caused by a problem with the catalog or the preferences, not with the app itself. To check that do the following:

1: Hold down the Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) key while launching Lightroom Classic. You will get a dialog asking you which catalog you want to open, with a button at the bottom to create a new catalog. Create a new catalog. See if Lightroom Classic finishes that and opens the new catalog successfully. If it does, then your main catalog is the culprit. Replace it by a backup copy (unzip the copy!).
