My students don't have Access to Generative Remove: Feature Not Available

I teach at a large university and I'm having problems in Light Room Classic. . . and my students don't have access to any features that utilize AI. Faculty and grad students have access to this feature, but the students don't.   My IT department says it is because that is considered a premium feature. . . but I feel like it is a feature they could turn on from the admin end (this is also from what I've read online).  I'm fighting a huge beast as they have just said it doesn't exist, but I need more information!!! I don't have access to the Adobe support because it's enterprise.  Anyone know about this?

Hey, @Marni34988765zv2v. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. I reviewed the account you used to log in, and I found an active enterprise subscription.

On the network side, Generative Remove requires the Firefly domain to be whitelisted (https://adobe.ly/3XwVCw4) and you can find more details here: https://adobe.ly/3FILLNC;

If access to Firefly services is restricted, as your subscription is an entitlement through your school/institute, an IT team or Administrative body must manage it. Please check with your institution's IT/administration for help troubleshooting this further andreviewingw the entitlements.

Thanks!

Thank you @Sameer K Sameer!!!  The links you posted do not work. . .

Quick question-- does white-listing Firefly cost for each account it is Whitelisted on?  That is what my university IT is implying to me, but I cannot seem to find if this is true or not.  We are a huge enterprise with so many levels that I am speaking with middle admins who do not have direct access to our account admin and I'm just trying to found out the facts from you at Adobe!  Huge thanks.

Are you using shared device access licences for the students?  If so, that is why they cannot use Firefly features. They are not available on SDL. You need to use Names User Licences for students to access Firefly features.
