Question

My tools have vanished ....I'm lost !

My open screen says: 1992-2024 Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Adobe Creative Cloud

I've been using Lightroom for years, and now I cannot do any editing.  The tools are no longer available (i.e., Not sure what they were called: the ellipse, circle, etc.) I can only use the sliders to affect the entire image...I can't do any spot editing on sections of the image. Perhaps I can reinstall the program (if so any help on doing this will be most appreciated)

Thank you,
Joe

I have the following LR program:

1992 to 2024  / Adobe Photoshop Lightroom / Adobe Creative Cloud

Which program should I pursue?

Which program should I pursue?

"Lightroom-CLASSIC".

If you subscribed to the "Lightroom Plan",  you need to change your Plan to the PHOTOGRAPHY PLAN (20GB)-

Your screen-clip indicates you have 'Lightroom' the cloud based app.

You need 'Lightroom-Classic' - totally different with its module menu and tools.

You also need to subscribe to the PHOTOGRAPHY PLAN (20GB)  (Not the Lightroom Plan).

COMPARE LIGHTROOM & LIGHTROOM-CLASSIC FEATURES

Lightroom-Classic is at v13.3 - which is the 'latest' version of those 'old' legacy versions v1 - v6.

Sounds like you mean masking. The interface changed, so all these tools are now part of masking.
