New App Versions Machine Compatibility

Is it possible to activate different app versions on different machines? I have an older model MacBook and a current model MacBook. the latest versions of PS, LRC, LR, ..., are now no longer compatible with the older model machine.

It is not the age of the computer. It is the OS that computer can run. Adobe has no control over this. Apple does.

Yes, its possible, but the catalog created by the machine that uses the current version of LrC cannot be used on the machine that has the older version of LrC.

Yes, that is possible. The installation on the first machine has no influence on the second machine.
