New Classic Installation - Still Syncing

Hi all

I purchased a new MacBook, and installed both Classic and CC.

Problem is that when I open Classic, it wants to start syncing 27,000 photos that I have in the Creative Cloud.

Is thee a way to stop the download (sync with CC), but still upload new Collections from my Macbook with Classic on it?

    No, sync with Lr Classic is all or nothing when it comes to the images in the cloud. When you sync the catalog, all cloud images that are not yet in that catalog will be downloaded.
