New Computer - worked well for a week now is slow.

Lightroom was crawling. Got a brand new macbook pro. Did well the frist few weeks..now its crawling again. I can't work like this, my work flow is dragggging because of it!

Mac m3 max chip, 36 gig, more than enough hardware to compensate, as I got top of the line. Computer and application are both up to date. What can possibly be happening!? Thank you!

What steps are crawling? Please be specific. Also, please indicate if you are using Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon).

When I am culling and trying to star photos, the star from the previous photo wont go away so when I click a new one I am not sure if it took or not. I am trying to copy and paste editing settings onto a new photo and it lags so much, and even freezes sometimes.

There have been other discussions about copy/paste, please search for them, I don't know if an answer has been found.

Try turning off the sync with the Adobe cloud. If you are someone who never uses this, please check and double-check that it hasn't been turned on by accident.
