New Denoise DNG file overwriting source image

When using the new Denoise AI in Lightroom, the new DNG file is overwriting the source image. Any suggestions? I can always make a copy of the file I'm working on first, but it's not supposed to work that way.

I thought I had exactly the same behaviour (original raw replaced by the .dng in the grid). The bug is that LRC sometimes doesn't display the little counter on the picture indicating there is a stack. Good to know, unstack works fine, even with missing counter on it. Thanks

Hi. Thanks for your speedy response. So, I right clicked the file in the film strip, clicked "Unstack" and the source file reappeared. Thank you for that response. Most helpful.

Can you provide evidence of your claim? Using the enhanced / Denoise feature creates a new file in DNG format, it may be stacked with the original but it will not overwrite the original.
